Chlorodifluoromethane is a colorless at room temperatures,non-toxic,non-flammable and transparent liquefied gas at room .It has excellent thermal and chemical properties, and not corrode metalw. Chlorodifluoromethane is used as pure or in mixture for refrigeration(medium-high temperatures),raw material for PTFE production and intermediate for Halon 1211 production. It is also a blowing agent for extruded polystyrene and polyurethane foams.
