Press ON/OFF button once to switchn on the thermometer,it will perform a self-test with a flash of full segment display and jump to normal display.

Take out the plastic probe cover,then penetrate the stainless steel probe into test substance about 25mm to get the reading when it become stable.

Press ON/OFF button once to switchn OFF the thermometer.

Press C/F button once to change the temperature unit.

Open the battery cover by swirling anti-clockwise,replace the battery,the close the battery cover tightly by swirling clockwise.
