High Performance Black RTV Silicone Gasket Maker

Excellent heat control and torque retention for overhead cam and timing chain covers. Dries tough, flexible and improves high temperature performance. Resists most engine fluids.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Clean all surfaces thoroughly. Remove old gaskets and prepare flange surfaces. Dry and remove all oil and grease.

2. Remove cap, puncture inner seal, screw on nozzle and cut to desired size.

3. Apply continuous, uniform 1/16” to 1/8" bead around perimeter of one surface. Completely surround all bolt holes.

4. Wait 10 minutes for silicone to "skin over". Reassemble parts.

CAUTION: ON CONTACT UNCURED SEALANT CAUSES IRRITATION. Avoid contact with eyes with water. Call a physician. Remove from skin with a dry cloth or paper tower. Sealant releases acetic during curing. Use with adequate ventilation.

KEEP OUT OF THE RECAH PF CHILDREN.

Note: leave thickness for gasket when reassembling. Do not over-tighten bolts. Remove excess silicone with dry cloth or alcohol wipe. Silicone dries to touch in i hour. Allow 24 hours to fully cure and bond. Replace cap after use.
